CASTING BACKGROUND ACTORS

LAST FLAG FLYING - Feature Film

Memorable Moment

Finding real military men & women to come be part of the project. It's always nice to give them an opportunity to be on the big screen representing their real career.

OUTSIDERS - TV SERIES

Memorable Moments

Hiring a core group of almost 80 people who worked almost the entire summer for us as a big family that lived on a mountain! Most even came back for Season 2! Great group of people sticking it out through long days & nights all spring/summer long!

Hiring fire throwers and twirlers.

FENCES - FEATURE FILM

Memorable Moment

Hiring almost 600 extras with about a weeks notice for a Parade scene. Requiring us to find and schedule:

2 Little League Teams (and fit them into period clothing being made to fit them in LA, get their permits completed and approved)

1 High school Marching Band (getting almost 100 minor permits completed and approved)

150 People Fit into Period Clothing Ranging from the 50's-2000's)

Book the remaining people to walk behind all of the rest in the parade! GAH!

WE DID IT! However, the footage of the parade unfortunately did not make the cut!

WHERE'D YOU GO, BERNADETTE? - FEATURE FILM

Memorable Moment

Hiring a bunch of people who we told were going to be involved in a mudslide in a house. :)  They all were fit for multiples of their outfits just incase we didn't get it right the first time!

CONCUSSION - FEATURE FILM

Memorable Moment

200 some college kids that we hired for a club scene got an unexpected treat while we were filming when Will Smith rapped for all of them at the DJ Booth! (if only we could of used it as a selling point prior to filming)

GONE - TV SERIES

Most Memorable Moment

Getting to put a karate class of young girls together that were in the first episode. They were so excited to be there.

BEAUTIFUL DAY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD (previously You Are My Friend) - Feature Film

Memorable Moments

We had an AWESOME open call turnout for this show around almost 4,000 people. I wish we could of hired everyone.

We had a lot of days where we had different groups of people commit to multiple days of work as Wedding Guests at New Jersey Wedding and those were "crew" on the set of Mister Rogers Neighborhood.  It's exciting when we offer multiple days!

SOUTHPAW - FEATURE FILM

Memorable Moments

Spending almost 2 weeks up at IUP mingling with the hundreds of people who were pretending to be boxing fans!

Adding about 2,500 more people to our BG count as the movie went on.

Rush calling my favorite group of boxers to come to set almost every other day. (shout out to Jimmy Cvetic, who really was a major asset to this show for everyone)
